Biography

Isabel earned her Bachelor’s Degree in History from the University of California, Berkeley. She earned her Juris Doctorate degree from Western State College of Law, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. 

During her time in law school, Isabel earned CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in a Legal Writing and Research course as well as a Contracts Drafting course. Notably, Isabel was selected as the 2023 OC American Board of Trial Advocates 2nd Place Scholarship Recipient after demonstrating her interest in trial advocacy and submitting a compelling essay on the topic of civility in the legal profession. Isabel was also selected as a 2022 Laughlin, Falbo, Levy, & Moresi Diversity Book Scholarship Recipient after demonstrating why diversity and inclusion are important in the legal profession.

Isabel comes to Ardent Law Group with a background in Family Law and Juvenile Dependency. Prior to joining Ardent Law Group, Isabel was a Law Clerk at Moshtael Family Law, where she gained invaluable experience drafting legal pleadings, conducting legal research, and communicating with clients. 

Prior to working at Moshtael Family Law, Isabel was an extern for the Honorable Sherri L. Honer. During her time with Judge Honer, Isabel wrote memoranda and observed court proceedings regarding various family law issues.

Isabel was also an intern on the Child Protection Trial Team with the Orange County Office of County Counsel. In preparation for her internship, Isabel attained certification under the California State Bar Practical Training of Law Students program, which allowed her to make appearances and arguments before the court. During her time with County Counsel, Isabel argued before the court on behalf of the County, helped to prepare witnesses to testify at trial, prepared discovery documents, and conducted legal research.
