Ardent attorney prevails after a lengthy trial

After a four-week trial featuring testimony from more than 15 witnesses, Ardent Law Group attorney Hubert Kuo has prevailed in a breach of fiduciary duty case in the Los Angeles Superior Court at Alhambra, arising out of a failed real estate development project.

At issue was the conduct of the manager of a limited liability company toward the company’s members. Following the trial, the court ultimately ruled that the manager breached his fiduciary duty to the LLC’s members.

Mr. Kuo then successfully sought the appointment of a receiver to sell the LLC’s assets and calculate damages. The receiver’s preliminary report found that damages are between $3.8 million and $4.1 million.

The final judgment in the case is still pending.
