In a 4 day Federal Patent Infringement Jury Trial in which the plaintiff sought several million dollars in damages, Ardent was successful in having the jury substantially reduce the damage award based upon its reasonable royalty patent damage argument.
Because of the result at trial, both parties settled the matter on favorable terms for Ardent’s defense client.
